Diana Chacon
Diana is a feminist lawyer based in Portugal, specializing in legal and regulatory frameworks that advance financial consumer protection and promote fairness in the financial system. She has advised governments across Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia on designing legal and regulatory approaches that are both globally informed and responsive to local contexts. Beyond her professional work, Diana is an active practitioner and advocate of anti-colonial approaches to feminist foreign policy.

Dr Farah Faizal
Farah is a retired ambassador, scholar, and leading specialist on Small Island Developing States. She is an independent consultant, writer, and public speaker. She was the first Maldivian woman to earn a PhD, with a groundbreaking thesis on the security problems of small island nations. A Senior Fellow at the Institute of Commonwealth Studies in London, Farah brings deep insight and experience to global discussions on democracy, climate change, and human rights, particularly in the context of the Maldives and South Asia.

Isabel Hernandez Pepe
Isabel is a PhD candidate in Transnational Governance at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence and the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa. She examines the contradictions, transformative potential, and the power dynamics that shape policymaking and knowledge production in the FFPs in Germany and Mexico. She is the Third Mission representative of her PhD program, and a member of WIIS Italy, the FEPS Young Academic Network, and the Fire Cosmos Working Group on Feminism and Intersectionality.

Katie M. Whipkey
Katie is a PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public and International Affairs. Her work focuses on the intersection of FFP with international and local civil society advocacy. She has a background in policy analysis and research, working for policy thinktanks, INGOs, and feminist movements. She has an MS in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University (2016) and a BA with Honors in Psychology from The Ohio State University (2009).

Kavita N. Ramdas
Kavita is a globally recognized leader, advocate, and strategist advancing gender justice, human rights, and democratic values worldwide. As Principal of KNR Sisters, she advises organizations and movements committed to equity and sustainable development, building on decades of leadership in philanthropy and civil society. She was the Director of the Women’s Rights Program at the Open Society Foundations, and held senior advisory roles at MADRE and the UN.

kirthi jayakumar
kirthi is a PhD candidate at Utrecht University. Her work focuses on feminist approaches to governing emerging technologies. She founded civitatem resolutions, which works at the cross-section of feminist foreign policy, women peace security, and tech geopolitics. kirthi serves on the Women 7, an advisory group to the G7 under the Canadian Presidency on Emerging Technologies, and has previously supported the Women 7 under the German, Japanese, and Italian Presidencies on Feminist Foreign Policy.

María Paulina Rivera Chávez
Paulina is a queer decolonial feminist pursuing her PhD at the University of Potsdam, Germany. Her work examines the narratives shaping Mexico’s feminist foreign policy, highlighting unspoken aspects and challenging the pursuit of universality within the “Western” project of modernity. Previously, she advised the Vice-Minister for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs on gender and sustainable development. She is the founder and first director of the International Research Centre of the Matías Romero Institute .

Rosebell Kagumire
Rosebell is currently a PhD candidate in Digital Media at the University of Porto. As the Curator and Editor of African Feminism, an online platform amplifying feminist voices across Africa, she is a leading voice on justice and equality on the continent. She is a columnist for New Internationalist Magazine and a founding member of the African Feminist Collective on Feminist Informed Policies. Rosebell serves on the Editorial Board of Minority Africa, which reports on the minority rights in Africa.

Sarah Didi
Sarah is a student of Music Performance and Production at the London College of Contemporary Music. A former Diversity Prefect at Bedford Girls’ School within the Girls’ Leadership Group, and an active member of her previous school’s Amnesty Club, she has long championed inclusion and human rights. In 2023, she was invited to speak at the House of Lords for the International Day of the Girl Child, at an event hosted by the High Commissioner of Bangladesh and Baroness Verma.

Dr Yasmine Hasnaoui
Yasmine is a specialist in North Africa Affairs and Conflict Resolution. She is professor of International Relations and research fellow at the Council for Mediterranean Diplomacy. She has worked in the field of education for more than 11 years in Morocco, the US and the Gulf. Dr. Hasnaoui has also worked in various policy institutions at the national and international levels. She has led the communication efforts at many NGOs such as Amnesty International’s Regional Section, People to People International, and SANAD USAID.
